The Company
Andrew Wood Associates is the trading name of A & S Wood Ltd Consulting Engineers. Andrew Wood qualified as a chartered civil, structural and environmental engineer and has been providing structural inspections and reports on a wide range of buildings and structures since 1985. Andrew Wood Associates was established in 1993 following a decade working in local authorities and international consultants. The firm was incorporated as a limited company in 2004.
Our catchment area
We have carried out inspections on properties throughout the country and in France, but our core area is Yorkshire and Lancashire, including Humberside, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. Located in Haworth 5 miles from the Yorkshire Lancashire boundary we are close to all the major conurbations of Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Burnley etc.
Our business
We focus exclusively on structural inspections and producing detailed reports for property and asset owners, we have specialised in this field for 25 years. Our close links with other consultants allow us to extend this core service into design and planning, but our main function is to appraise and report on the condition of structures.

New Rates
Although we remain VAT registered and therefore have to add 17.5% to all our fees we have recently reduced our fees to help us compete with local engineers who are not VAT registered.
